Shipping Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Every section here is laid out like the note under a book: the fact and the number, then the point where the promise ends. The same numbers sit under each title and again at checkout. If the page and the cart ever disagree, the cart wins and the page gets corrected.
Free shipping starts at $32
Below $32.00: $4.49 for the whole order, one book or five.
At $32.00 and above: $0.
How the line was drawn: three titles from these shelves cross it nineteen times in twenty, two titles cross it about once in five, one title never does.
What counts: book prices after any discount code, before sales tax. The fee itself is not part of the $32.
Where it stops: no express tier exists, no rush fee, no packaging or handling charge. The shipping figure in the cart is the only one.
Fifty states, one district, and every post office box
Served: street addresses and PO Boxes in all fifty states and Washington, DC. Alaska and Hawaii pay the same $4.49 and get the same free line at $32, because USPS charges Froxeo the same for a book bound there.
Not served: military mail (APO, FPO, DPO), Puerto Rico with the other territories, and any address abroad.
How you will know: the checkout offers only the places Froxeo can reach, so an address it declines sits outside the map. Nothing about you is being judged.
Three in the afternoon, Eastern, is the line between today and tomorrow
Cut-off: 3:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday.
Before the line: the order day counts as the first business day.
After the line, on a Saturday or Sunday, or during a US federal holiday: counting begins the next business day.
Business day: Monday to Friday, federal holidays excluded.
Handling one to two days, transit three to six, door to door four to eight
Handling, 1 to 2 business days: Froxeo places the order with the wholesaler; the warehouse pulls the copy, checks the jacket and the spine, boxes it. USPS collects.
Transit, 3 to 6 business days: from the first USPS tracking event to the doorstep.
Total: 4 to 8 business days, order to doorstep, the figure printed under every title. Most books arrive in the middle of that range.
Where it stops: an estimate for a book crossing the country, not a date Froxeo can guarantee. What happens when a package runs late is set out further down.
Every copy is new, bought through US wholesalers, and none sits in Cheektowaga
Stock: Froxeo holds none. Each order is filled by buying a fresh copy through the authorized wholesalers that supply American bookshops, the ordinary trade route a shop with a storefront uses.
Packing: a distribution partner's warehouse inside the country, which boxes the copy and hands it to USPS.
Condition: new. Never second-hand, never printed on demand unless the publisher itself prints that way.
Border crossings: none. No customs form can attach to a Froxeo package, and neither can a duty or an import fee.
The Cheektowaga address: 229 Cleveland Dr is where Lisa Pasco Funy LLC is registered and where returns travel to. A desk and a returns shelf. Nothing ships from there. Every order's merchant of record is Lisa Pasco Funy LLC.
USPS carries it, and one tracking number follows it home
Carrier: USPS, on a tracked service the warehouse picks by weight.
The number: emailed the moment USPS accepts the package from the warehouse, which is also when the handling clock ends. The Track order page reads it alongside the order number and email.
What to expect: USPS events come in bursts: one at pickup, a quiet stretch inside the network, then daily updates near the destination.
Where it stops: tracking shows the last place USPS handled the package, not where it is this minute. Five business days without a new event is where Froxeo steps in; see the section on late packages.
Sales tax lands on New York orders and no others
Delivered inside New York State: New York sales tax, as a separate line before the Place order button, charged on the books and not on the shipping fee.
Delivered anywhere else: no tax line, because Lisa Pasco Funy LLC collects tax only where New York requires it.
Never: tax folded into a book price or into the shipping fee.
Where it stops: a state that asks its own residents to report use tax on out-of-state purchases asks that of you. Froxeo cannot work that figure out on your behalf.
The address can change until the order day ends, at midnight Eastern
Up to 11:59 PM Eastern on the order day: an email to contact@froxeo.com naming the order and the corrected address fixes it, or cancels the order if that is the wish.
After midnight: the wholesaler has the order and the destination is fixed.
Worth doing: check the apartment number and ZIP code a second time before confirming. USPS delivers to the label as printed and counts that as delivered.
If it bounces: a package coming back over an incomplete address, or one refused at the doorstep, falls under the Refund and Returns Policy.
Damage is settled inside fourteen days, on two photographs
Counts as damage: a corner crushed in transit, a torn jacket, a copy that got wet, a box open on arrival.
Deadline: 14 days from the delivery date.
Send: the order number plus two photographs, one of the damage and one of the outer box. A USPS claim is built from exactly those.
Then choose: a replacement copy at Froxeo's cost, or the whole payment back, shipping refunded as well.
The damaged book: stays with you unless Froxeo asks for it, which is rare.
Where it stops: a small shelf mark, a lightly bumped spine, or a cover that curves in humid weather is how publishers ship books. The test is a copy you could not read or give as a gift.
A late, silent or missing package gets a trace, then a replacement or a refund
Marked delivered, nothing on the doorstep: check with family, then next door, then the mailroom, and give it 2 days; a USPS delivered event can post a day before the truck. Still nothing, send a note and Froxeo opens a USPS trace.
No tracking event for 5 business days running: send a note and the trace opens that same day.
Once USPS confirms the loss: a new copy ships, or the whole payment comes back. You choose.
Clocks: a reply inside 1 business day; the case closed, with a copy in the mail or the refund issued, 3 to 5 business days later, which is how long a USPS trace takes.
Where it stops: a package taken from a doorstep after a genuine delivery is covered where the USPS trace supports it. A package sent to an address typed wrong falls under the section above, not this one.
A title can run short at the wholesaler, and the choice is yours
Sold out at the wholesaler after the order: an email the next business day offering three choices: wait for the copy to come back, swap to another title priced the same, or have every dollar refunded, shipping too. Nothing is swapped without your word.
Where it stops: no restock date gets printed that the shop cannot see; the wholesaler's own estimate is passed along, with the word estimate attached.
Two weeks a year slow every package, and a federal rule covers the rest
Two known slowdowns: the week around Thanksgiving and the two weeks before Christmas, when USPS volume peaks. The site says so when either is close.
The unscheduled kind: storms and carrier disruptions. A package Froxeo can see is stuck gets an email saying what is known.
The federal rule behind the date: the Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, requires a seller to ship inside the window it advertises and, where it cannot, to say so, name a revised date, and let the buyer choose between waiting and a complete refund. Froxeo applies that rule to every late order before anyone asks.
Returns travel to Cheektowaga, after an email and never before
Window: 30 days from the USPS delivered event.
Fee: none.
Route: a domestic package to the Cheektowaga address, sent only after a return authorization arrives by email. Never to the warehouse. Never to a wholesaler.
Postage: paid by whichever side caused the return. The Refund and Returns Policy prices each reason.
