Beneath each title on this site sits a short note on what the book covers and where it stops. This page is that note written for the shop itself: what a product page can promise about a printed book, and what it cannot.
The edition named on the page is the one in the box
Source of the details: publisher, year, page count and binding, copied from the publisher's listing for that ISBN. That is the copy that ships. No other.
Reprints: publishers reissue titles between printings with new cover art, a fresh foreword or a corrected page count. The wholesaler supplies the current printing under the same ISBN, and inside it is the same book.
Froxeo's error: a different edition, binding or language from the one named, and the Refund and Returns Policy prices it as one.
Not an error: a cover that prints in a slightly different shade on a screen, or a cover the publisher redesigned after the photograph was taken.
The words belong to the author, and so do the claims
Who wrote it: the author. Checked by the publisher. Not Froxeo.
What Froxeo adds: the note under each title, which is the shop's reading of the book, offered in good faith, and not the verdict of a specialist.
Disagreement: two books on the same shelf contradict each other. Both stay.
Claims ahead of the evidence: where a book's argument runs past the published research, the note says so. The argument itself stays the author's.
A health book is not a doctor, and a money book is not an adviser
The health shelf: fasting, blood sugar, the Mediterranean diet, metabolism.
What it is not: medical advice from Froxeo, and no note the shop writes turns a book into medical advice.
The authors' own warnings: several titles carry them, for readers who are pregnant, diabetic, underweight or on medication. Read them. Then talk to a clinician who knows your history before changing what you eat or how you train. A book cannot examine you.
The money shelf: saving, investing, debt, running a business. Four subjects.
Who those authors write for: a general reader. Not your account, your tax bracket or your country's rules, and some figures date from the year of printing.
What it is not, either: investment, tax or legal advice from Froxeo.
For a real decision: a licensed adviser who can see the whole picture, which a book cannot.
In one line: nothing on this site is meant to diagnose a condition, to treat one, or to stand in for a clinician or an adviser.
Four to eight business days is an estimate; the shipping price is a promise; a typo is neither
The window under each title: an honest estimate for a book moving by USPS inside the United States. An estimate only.
What can push a package past it: weather, a holiday peak, a title that runs short at the wholesaler. The Shipping Policy says what Froxeo does then and what you may choose.
The one figure that is a promise: the shipping price. $4.49 under $32, nothing from $32, and not a cent at the doorstep.
A wrong book price: twenty-nine product pages are kept by hand, and a typo slips in now and then. A book showing a price that is obviously a slip does not ship at it. The order is cancelled, every dollar returns to the card, and the email names the line that was wrong.
Same rule, formal wording: the Terms of Service.
Reviews are readers' words, and the shelf holds no medals
A review: the words of the reader who posted it, reflecting that reader's shelf and taste. Froxeo does not edit one to make a book look better, and no review changes a word of any policy here.
Awards, features, affiliations: none. None at all. No bookselling award, no press feature, no affiliate links, no tie to any author or publisher beyond buying their books through the trade.
The most Froxeo owes is the order
The ceiling: the amount paid for the order, shipping included, made good by refund or by replacement.
Outside the ceiling: what a book told you to do with your money or your body, a decision made after reading one, and costs that follow a late or missing package, such as a copy bought elsewhere in a hurry.
Untouched: the rights your state's consumer laws give you, which no page can remove.
The date up top follows the words
The date under the title: the day this page last changed. A new version applies from that day forward.
Changes that matter: announced on the site, not tucked in quietly.
