Froxeo sells twenty-nine practical books on three shelves: money, habits, health. Under every one of them it prints a few lines on what the book leaves out. Dweck's mindset research has a replication problem, and the note says so. Fung's fasting book carries contraindications, and the note lists them. Three titles on the health shelf argue past what the clinical evidence has settled, and their notes point at the gap. Other shops lead with the praise. Froxeo leads with the edge, because a reader who knows where a book stops is a reader who does not send it back disappointed.

Every copy is bought new through US wholesalers and packed by a partner warehouse

Inventory: none. When an order lands, the shop buys a new copy of that title from the wholesalers that keep American bookshops stocked, the channel a shop with a front door uses.
Boxing and posting: a distribution partner's warehouse in the United States pulls the copy, checks it over, and hands the package to USPS.

Things the shop is not

Neither a publisher nor an author's agent. Not a heritage business with a founding year to boast of. Not the holder of any bookselling award, and not featured anywhere. Not a store with a front door or a reading room. Not tied to any book, author or publisher, except as a customer of the trade. What Froxeo is, is a short shelf with a note under each book and a set of numbers it keeps.

Today: twenty-nine books and nothing else, which is why every page on this site talks about books.
Next: new titles first, then new shelves.
Later, perhaps: other things sold the same way, provided they clear the same bar: new stock from a named supplier, a real description with a real photograph, shipping and return numbers identical to the books', and the same returns address.
Always: nothing arrives quietly. A change in the range shows up on this page and in the policies first, and whatever is listed sells on identical terms from day one.

The founder takes the last paragraph

I started Froxeo because the books I trusted most were the ones whose limits I had learned the hard way, after the purchase. The note under each title is the paragraph I wished someone had shown me first. Should any figure on this site turn out wrong, write and say so. The figure gets corrected, and so does the order it touched.
